Dinning & Entertainment

It’s not a hidden fact that Lebanese are scaterred all over the world. The interaction with other cultures helped them learn some if not all the traites of those cultures. Due to this fact you can find diversified menus also diversified entertainment centers. There are specialized retaurants that serve specific food (Greek, Italian, etc… and ofcourse we can not forget the Lebanese food).

One of the main nightlife themes in Lebanon that every young and old enjoy is eating. Eating here is not just something you have to do to survive, it's an event. Whether it's outside or in their homes the Lebanese turn eating into a mass social activity. Restaurants and cafe's are full at night, and everyone is on show. This isn't just a thing for adolescents, you see kids from the age of 1 and at the other end of the scale people 80 yrs old all out to have a good time. Dress up for dinner, by that I don't mean you have to wear a suit, just make sure you are presentable, whether that be smart or fashionable, you are on show here

The extravagant Lebanese mezze represents the high point of the country's hospitality. Mezze staples are hommos - a chickpea puree with lemon and sesame paste - and bahaganouj - a dip made of roasted eggplant, sesame paste, lemon and garlic. Raw or fried kibbe - fresh lamb pounded with ground wheat and seasoned with onion, fresh mint, salt and pepper - is also a favorite

Lebanon (Arabic: لبنان Lubnān)

Officially the Lebanese Republic (Arabic: الجمهورية اللبنانية), is a small, largely mountainous country in the Middle East, located at the eastern edge of the Mediterranean Sea. It is bordered by Syria to the north and east, and Israel to the south. The flag of Lebanon features a cedar in green against a white backdrop, bounded by two horizontal red stripes along the top and bottom. A combination of beautiful climate, many historic landmarks and World Heritage Sites continues to attract large numbers of tourists to Lebanon annually.

Location

Lebanon is at the meeting point of three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa. Lebanon has been the crossroad of many civilizations; the traces of which can still be seen today. Its countryside is a place of rocks, cedar trees and magnificent ruins that look down from the mountains to the sea.

Climate

Lebanon enjoys an essential four season Mediterranean climate with rainy winters, moderate springs, warm summers and regular autumns, with an average of 300 sunny days a year.

The winter is mild on the coast and snowy in the mountains and the summer is hot on the coast but cooler in the mountains. Lebanon is the only country in the Middle East that doesn’t have a desert.
